Monday Feb.6th Settling in

We have been in Oregon for just over two weeks ...Most of the time was
spent in St Paul , a small town in the Willamette valley , we were guests of my
friend Lee and his wife Corrine . Last Wednesday we drove to the beach house we
had rented for the month of February . IT has been a wonderful stay so far and
we have Several weeks ahead of us.

Since we arrived the weather has been incredible, most of my time has been
spent photographing the local beaches and attractions , taking advantage of the
good weather ...The weather forcast for the next several days ..includes rain .
Rainy days will be days for catching up on post processing , Dining in local
restaurants and touring shops and museums .

This weekend we were able to Host Lee and Corrine , Lee enjoyed the
wonderful view from our balcony , Corrine and I spent some time at the Yaquina
head Light House , Depoe Bay and Cape Foulweather . Corrine loves Photography
and we had a great time together .

After Lee and Corrine Left , Lori and I drove South to one of our favorite
Beaches ...Yachat's I was looking for tide pools , but was unable to gain access
to the places I wanted to shoot . IN this case that means I forgot a Ladder and
Snorkeling gear . even at Low tide the tidal areas were covered with water and
if and when the water left we could find no way to get down other than falling .

We still had some daylight available and Lori suggested we go to the south
Yachats beach called Smelt Sands ...that turned out wonderful ! Easy access ,
and a beautiful Sunset as I flirted with the waves ...

In the next few days I plan on finishing " LEE" part two , Adding a
Bella Beach Community page , and extended musing .

Now I plan to watch some waves its almost high tide and the surf is
beautiful !
